Being invited to a party is such a special gesture; here are some classy ways to say ‘thank you” to the host.
Find a thoughtful gift that’s meant for the host/hostess as a personal thank you and not something to be consumed at the party. Classic hostess gifts include a bottle of wine or flowers but let’s get creative. We’re Divas after all.
Homemade or store bought; give the gift of breakfast the morning after the party. I like to make a quiche. Other ideas would be bagels with a homemade cream cheese schmear, a fresh baguette and jar of lovely jam, or a special coffee and coffee cake.
Bring taper candles tied with a beautiful bow or a lovely scented candle. Add a note telling the host “This is the high light of your week” or “You Glow Girl!”
Offer Your Time to Help Clean Up
Make yourself available to come over in the morning and help clean up after the party. Print a certificate on the computer entitling the bearer to good company for clean up duty. Bring coffee and some fun music. Hangovers love company. Now that’s a Diva friend!
Specialty food items
If your host is a foodie you could bring a unique olive oil or vinegar. Make them yourself or purchase a fun one online. Raise the bar with some fun barware like a cocktail shaker or some artisan mixers. Here’s a cocktail shaker that everybody loves: COCKTAIL SHAKER SET- Best Professional Stainless Steel 26 Oz with Jigger – Bottle Opener – Martini Mojito Bartender Tool – Booklet & 2 x Original Cocktail Recipe Ebooks – The complete 5-PIECE GIFT SET

The important thing to take away is remember to thank your host or hostess for their hospitality, time creativity and thoughtfulness. A thank you as you’re leaving is absolutely mandatory. A follow up email, call or text is better but a handwritten thank you note is best. Do your best!
